1st "no show"
A patient will be advised of a "no show" fee that will be applied for future missed appointments.
Fee for 2nd "no show"
Patient is charged a $50-75* fee which must be paid before the next appt can be booked. (*longer appt)
More "no show" info
Repeat "no shows" may result in higher fees. There is no 1st warning if the "no show" is with a partner MD.
A $50 "no show" fee will be charged for appointments that have been booked with a partner of regular MD.

Fees can be paid in person with cash, check, bank or credit card or we can send an invoice to email.

Uninsured Services & Fees
The BC Health Care Insurance Plan pays for many of the services patients receive from their doctor. However, several services are not covered by the government plan. These are called uninsured services. Some are billed to lawyers, government agencies, non-profit organizations, or other third party payers, and some are billed to the patient.
Why do I have to pay for medical forms and uninsured services?
Uninsured services are not covered by the BC Health Insurance Plan.
The clinic’s working hours are intended to discuss and address your medical concerns and to focus on your health. Therefore, your doctor works on completing your forms and uninsured requests outside office hours.
Filling out forms required by employers or disability insurers can be a tedious, repetitive, and time-consuming process, as it requires accurate information on the part of the physician. These can become an administrative burden and a detriment to your physician’s well-being when there is no compensation involved for the extra effort and time invested. Remember that your physician’s main interest and enjoyment is in practicing medicine, not in doing paperwork or administrative tasks. You are being asked to pay for these uninsured services as you would pay your notary, accountant, lawyer, financial advisor, clinical counselor, naturopath, chiropractor, psychologist, etc.
